Payments

   The consular fees are applied in accordance with the Ordnance of the Government of the Republic Moldova No.1 from 26th of September 2000 on the establishment of the quantum of the consular fees.

   According to the Ordnance, the fees is fixed in USD, but are to be paid in Euro at the National Bank of Moldova official exchange rate on the day of application.

   The payment is to be done exclusively by Post or Bank transfer - the Embassy DOES NOT accept cash.

   For urgent processing (same business day) the fees increase by additional 50%.

   Also, according to the Ordnance, there can be applied additional non-refundable charges for complex cases requiring extra processing resources.
